THE VOICE OF INTEGRITY

A MESSAGE FOR 6 NOVEMBER 2019

Dear Integrity friends,

We are grateful for the messages of support and membership renewals we have received from you over the last few weeks. As you have seen in our updates, we are committed to regular communication and transparency. Hopefully, you saw the financial update that the Rev. Frederick Clarkson, our treasurer, shared earlier this week. If you missed it, please take a few minutes to review it. The report includes answers to several questions you have asked us, including the number of members in good standing, membership records, membership renewals, donor confidentiality, sources of income, expenses, and cash on hand. We will continue to share comprehensive treasurer’s reports with you each month so you can see how Integrity USA is performing financially.
We are pleased to report that the outside review of the financial audit has been completed. We expect to receive a letter with the results of the review from the accounting firm in the next few days. When we do, we will post it so you can read it.
Thank you for your patience as we work through this transition. We are an all-volunteer board with full-time commitments outside of the hours we spend focusing on Integrity USA. We volunteer for this board because we believe in this organization’s vision. Integrity envisions a church where people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions are welcomed and affirmed.
There is much work to be done to fulfill Integrity’s vision. If we want to be successful, we must work together. We realize that people have strong opinions about how our organization is managed. Sometimes, emotions can get the best of us. We hope that members will treat each other with respect and kindness. Jesus did tell us, after all, to love one another.
Integrity USA’s board meetings are not open to the public, but as you can see from our updates, we are addressing your questions and sharing what is happening with the organization. While we are enforcing our Facebook community guidelines and removing comments that violate them, including personal attacks, you can see from what we do not remove that we are fully committed to being in dialogue with Integrity members, so please keep sending us your questions and suggestions. We may ask you to present an idea or concern to us at a future board meeting.
This is a very exciting time for Integrity USA. We have an opportunity to build on the strong legacy of the past while addressing current and future needs. Won’t you join us?

Blessings,

Gwen Fry
Integrity USA President
